As National Market Manager for the South African Sugar Association (SASA), she honed her skills as a marketing strategist with particular focus on generic marketing. Working closely with the team at Ogilvy Durban over the past five years she has researched and implemented generic marketing campaigns, conducting extensive 1consumer research, and creating effective communication strategies to market the benefits of table sugar to targeted market segments. Her time spent managing the industrial sugar rebates at SASA also provided an opportunity to further her understanding of the economics of various industries that use sugar as a key ingredient such as; soft drinks, confectionery, canning, baking, etc.
